1. What can SMS-Timing’s karting software suite do for my karting center?
All the possibilities of the different software modules will help you to run your business, make your customers and staff happier while improving your revenue. 2. How can I acquire the SMS-Timing’s software suite?

Which licensing options allow me to get the software?
There are three ways to get our software, either you prefer us to make the purchase for good in one time or you might want to split the costs between your initial installation, your fixed monthly costs and your variable costs.
- The first solution is to Purchase the software entirely, so you will have a very minor monthly cost, which will only cover the 24/7 support service.
- You can also Rent the software. This is a solution that allows you to reduce the start costs, so your business can start making money from the software without investing a lot. Costs will be split between initial costs (installation & hardware for example) and monthly payments (renting fee + support service).
- The last option is the Partner option. You only have to pay for the installation at first. Then, the cost will be based on several parameters such as the amount member cards, vouchers, emailings, races… (Every month for example). This way, you only pay if you sell.
With each of these solutions, a dedicated SMS-Timing team will come to your karting center in order to perform the installation and to help you discover all the possibilities of our software suite.
4. How many modules does the software contain?

5. Can I install the software on several computers with just one license?
When acquiring any software module, you automatically receive the license keys to use them on different computers. You can install the modules on all the computers you have with these two license keys.However, you won’t be able to use a specific module on more systems than your have licensed it for. For example, if you have two Point of Sale licenses and someone is using the Point of Sale (selling products for the bar) at the bar while another POS is used at the reception counter, a third POS will refuse to open. This module allows you to be flexible and to get the best use of the licenses you purchase as you can decide where and when you want to use them.
6. How do I insert a license key?
Firstly, to obtain your license keys, you have to go to our website and enter your login and your password at the top right-hand corner.Click on “My licensing”. This will open a page that displays your license keys.
Now, open the “Application Server” module, which is running on your server computer by clicking the icon next to the clock (1). Then click ‘Advanced’ (2). Click the ‘License’ button on the left (3) and use the ‘New’ buttons (4) to enter you license keys.

7. Do I need to pay when there is a new update?
The simple answer is ‘no’. We have a support contracts with all of our customers that gives you the right to receive free updates. So any updated features can be installed at no additional cost.However, if you require new features that have to be developed especially for your center, the price (if any) will depend on the amount of development that will go into creating this functionality. Feel free to contact us to receive more information about this process.
8. Will I lose my data when I install a new version of the software?
No, our upgrades are designed to preserve any data that is in the system. We are proud to never have lost a customer’s database.Our upgrade routine creates a backup of your database as it was the moment before the upgrade takes place. So if anything should go wrong, we can always recover any data that might be lost during the update.
9. Can I see the members that have spent most money in one month?
This is possible in the latest version of Office. But in order to do this, your database has to be updated by our technical support. You will be able to see the top members that have spent the most money in a day, a week, a month... You can easily segment all the data you have in your database.We can write custom queries for your Office module so you can dispose of any bit of knowledge that can put you ahead of your competition.
10. Can I send automatic emails with timing results to the racers?
The timing software is configured to do this. When the race ends, an email is automatically sent to the drivers’ email addresses. You can obtain the addresses thanks to Kiosk and the membership system. You can create a relevant database by combining these features.If this feature doesn’t work, maybe your IP address ended up on a blacklist for some reason. Please feel free to contact our office to solve this problem.
11. Can I have a personalized design for my member cards?
Personalization is the basis of our services. All emailings, vouchers and member cards are designed to correspond exactly to the house style of your company. Just tell us what you want exactly, and our designers will work their best to meet your needs.12. How can I attract more visitors to my website?
With the web visibility service, you will have essential information about your website referencing on search engines. We can explain you why your website is not ranked well on Google, why users cannot find it, what are blocking factors, etc.There are two possible options:

13. How can I learn to use the software?
